Only Have 30 Minutes? That's Enough!
You do NOT have to volunteer for the whole day!
Have 30 minutes before work? Come greet our Barnes Stars as they arrive at school. A high five, a big smile, or a few encouraging words could make a child's WHOLE day better.
Whether you have 30 minutes, a couple of hours, or a full day, your time matters and we'd love to have you!
What is WATCH D.O.G.S.?
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) brings dads and father figures into our school to support students, help teachers, and be positive role models. You might help in a classroom, read with students, assist during lunch or recess, or simply offer a high five and a little encouragement!

Before You Volunteer
Keeping our Barnes Stars safe is our top priority! All WATCH D.O.G.S. volunteers must have a current, approved CCISD background check before volunteering on campus.
Background checks must be completed and approved every school year, even if you've volunteered with us before.
